If you're anything like the Weston Banks staff, you might be ready for a slower change of pace following the busy holiday season. The season ideally provides the opportunity to celebrate with friends and family and to reflect on the meaning of the season, but we know that hosting and attending events all week long can lead to exhaustion. We sincerely hope that you were able to spend time reflecting and being present with those in your life who matter most to you.
January offers us a new beginning, though in reality there are little changes other than the year at the end of the date. However, something about living in the first month of the year brings forth fresh ideas, exciting goals, and an eagerness to grow.
Goals of various staff members include:
- cutting back on sugar intake & drinking more water
- sending birthday cards on time
- thinking proactively instead of reactionary
- growing the office staff with seasoned professionals
- and slowing down our pace of life.
To take steps forward into those new ideas requires looking back into the past and asking yourself, "What worked? What didn't work?"
Did you learn anything new about yourself this year? Leave comments below! We'd love to hear what you're trying in the New Year.
